Firas Jaber

Co-founder and researcher at the Social & Economic Policies Monitor (Al Marsad)-Ramallah. He worked with different research and development institutions like Bisan Center for Research and Development where he served as the Director of Research (2008-2012); He joined Al-Mada as a consultant researcher and a member of the Board of Directors (2012-present).

He earned his Master’s degree in Sociology from Bir Zeit University (2010) and he holds a BA from Bethlehem University. His areas of interest include: sociology, development, poverty, social and economic policies, labor policies, and tax justice. He is the author of several studies and published multiple books, supervised a series of public opinion polls, and a number of survey-based research studies.
