Founder and Director of the Gaza-based PalThink for Strategic Studies. He is an economist, researcher, and analyst of the political economy of the Middle East and a regular writer and commentator for the Arab and international media. Shaban is one of the founders of the Palestinian groups for Amnesty International, the vice chair of the board of Asala association, and a member of the Institute of Good Governance.
