Dr. Nahed Habiballah
A faculty member at the Arab American University in Palestine (AAUP). She is the Director of Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center (PCRSC) at AAUP.
Nahed's fields of interest are Sociology of Religion, Cultural Sociology, and political sociology with a focus on the Middle East in general and Israel/Palestine in particular.
Dr. Nahed received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the New School for Social Research in New York in 2015. She received her second Master’s degree in Human Rights & Democracy from the University of Malta in 2006. Nahed received her first Master’s degree in Women’s Studies from Eastern Michigan University in 2003. Dr. Habiballah published several articles and conference papers, her research focused on Jerusalem, urban planning, populism, identity, and culture.
